Rumours of a new airgun from Daystate have been confirmed following a post on the British gunmaker’s social media platforms, and it sounds like it will be unveiled at the British Shooting Show.
The post shows a new variation of Daystate’s famous wolf logo with the text “A new wolf rises”. Airgun shooters have interpreted this as an imminent new addition to the Daystate Wolf family of airguns.
Also in the post is the date 14.02.25. The first day of the 2025 British Shooting Show is Friday 14th February, and Daystate has hinted at an unveiling at the premier shooting showcase.
Talk of a new Daystate airgun has been circulating since a shooter was spotted using a secret Daystate air rifle at Extreme Benchrest 2024. The long rifle – not a bullpup model – was being shot in the 75-Yard Extreme Benchrest Card One.
Daystate is regarded as a leading force in airgun innovation. The company has spearheaded electronic airgun design – technology that has reached its current pinnacle in the Daystate Alpha Wolf, Delta Wolf and Red Wolf models. The brand also makes acclaimed mechanical air rifles in the shape of the Huntsman and Wolverine.
A Daystate spokesman confirmed a new airgun is imminent and that it is not simply an update of an existing model but a totally new gun. He remained tight-lipped about specifications but said there will be “very new and very exciting” air rifles on display at Daystate’s stand at the forthcoming British Shooting Show at the NEC in Birmingham from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th February.
