Range Right has secured exclusive UK distribution rights for Taipan Airguns and Valiant Optics. The announcement follows successful discussions between the businesses at this year’s IWA show in Nuremberg.
Harrogate-based Range Right is a leading distributor of airguns, optics, shotguns, rifles and shooting accessories.
Managing director Gill Peters said: “This is very exciting for us. Taipan Airguns are at the top end of the market and have a reputation for excellent performance, not just with pellets but also with slug ammunition, which has rocketed in popularity in recent years.

Based in the Czech Republic, the Taipan Airguns range is made to the highest standards. Each of these pre-charged air rifles is tested on completion and leaves the factory with a range card confirming its accuracy at 40 metres.
Guns in Taipan Airguns’ 2025 lineup include the self-indexing Slash, the Veteran II and the Veteran II Tactical.
Range Right will be bringing the entire Taipan Airguns range to the UK in a variety of barrel lengths and covering .177, .22, .25 and .30 calibres. Options will include sub-12ft/lb and high-power models in various configurations.
The Slash has a self-indexing firing mode, which allows up to 12 shots to be taken in rapid succession. Other features include an advanced valve capable of remarkable operating speeds, external regulator adjustment, shrouded barrel, carbon fibre bottle and a refined multi-shot magazine.
The Veteran II is a compact sidelever-action bullpup, measuring just 820mm in the 550mm barrel version. Sporting an elegant laminate stock, it boasts features including 20 MOA Picatinny scope rail, free-floating barrel, 400mm air tube and an excellent two-stage trigger.
Established in the Czech Republic in 2011, Valiant Optics produces high-quality riflescopes incorporating a unique lens system and built to meet the needs of hunters and competition shooters alike.
The Valiant Optics range includes Epic, Zephyr, Kronos, Themys and Lynx models, all of which will feature in the Range Right portfolio. Options range from compact scopes to high-power optics with 6-24x magnification and 56mm objective lenses, covering everything from hunting in low-light conditions (assisted by features including illuminated reticles) to extreme long-range target shooting.
